Oh the joy's of being a Wintle!

Well well well....where should we begin? Payton started school this Monday, then yesterday about 3:20 I get a call from Chris, he begins to tell me he has totaled his car and to stay by the phone so I pace back and forth while waiting for his call after I finally get his call back it is not good news. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Basically Chris remembers nothing and somehow was able to walk away. There are also pic's of the car that hit him. We were only able to take pictures at the tow yard this morning. Ours is the car missing the whole front end. Depending on the way you look at it we either have the worst luck in the world or the best? You decide.

Tried to Catch Straton's Smile!

It is official Straton does have DIMPLES!!!! My dimples never showed up on Payton and Ashton. I tried to catch a picture of them, but I fear I had no luck. This week was a busy week, we got Payton ready for school to start this next Monday, I went back to work, and Payton's cat had 5 kittens! Last Saturday she got up to feed that cat and when she entered the garage she heard a bunch of little meows. It had only been 2 weeks since we had found out the cat was pregnant! So we figure she had them sometime last Thursday night or Friday sometime! Payton has been taking care of all of them. But she knows she can not keep them. But for now she is having fun with it. Also yesterday Chris and I did our first wedding since I came off maternity leave! It was fun to be back! It was a very busy day at the Temple! But everything went well. We also put our house on the market this week, we are not looking to move any time soon, we just figure it could take a while so why not put it up now. But we are hoping to at least stay until Feb or later. We love our ward and plan to try and find something still in it. If not I think the kids want to stay in Lehi, but it might make our lives easier if we moved closer to work if we have the option. We only have a 10 mile commute now, but why not have a 1 mile, with how the gas prices are. Over all it has been very busy! PS. We now have the ladder and rock wall added to the swing set! I think next is the roof then the swings! Chris said the slide is last on the instructions! The kids were sad about that.

Grandpa Wally's 95th B Day!

I would have posted this sooner, but Sunday night after all the fun I got really sick. But I am finally almost over it. On Saturday the 2nd we all attended cousin Michael's wedding up little cotton wood canyon. It was a beautiful day. Then Sunday morning we celebrated Grandpa Wally's 95th Birthday at Little America in Salt Lake City. The food was great, sadly I was already starting to not feel too well so I could not fully enjoy the food. But the kids loved being able to pick out and get their own food a little too much! Straton got to get to know the Gustman's a little better, and Ashton and Payton just had fun with their uncle Chris and cousin Bailey. Then the Gustman guy's got together to plan a time they could all go out to Seatle to fix Grandpa Wally's roof and attend a Mariners game. Then Sunday night we celebrated Payton's and her Grandpa Guy's B Day's as well. To re-cap August 2nd Michael's Wedding, August 3rd Grandpa Wally's B Day, August 4th Guy's B Day. Over all it was a good weekend. The swing set is now on phase 6 out of 20! Maybe sometime this year we might be able to use it! Over all it was a good weekend, it was nice to see the Gustman side of the fam. Maybe next time it can be sooner then 3 years before we see them again. PS.
