Last Day of School!

Today was the last day of school for Payton! Ashton wanted to go with her to school. Right now they are with friends at Jump On It having all sorts of fun. Yeasterday Ashton got got into Chris' camera and tried to take some pictures of his baby Straton on his own. Payton also finished up dance for the year but is now starting to practice for the Stadium of Fire. She is so excited, but sad that there are no tickets for Chris and I to attend this year. If I had not just had the baby I would have been one of the helper mom's so that at least one of us could go and watch. But she will have fun!

Down 1 car up 1 kid!

As many of you have probaly heard we had a gas leak at our house, then a week later we got into a car accident on May16th on I-80 West Bound shortly after leaving work, the car was totaled I had to be taken to the emergency room as a Trama 2 (not fun when you are fully awake a aware) then had to be watched for 24 LONG hours. Once it was about time for me to go home the Cheif OBGYN came in and told me I was going to be having a baby. They felt it would be safer and I was alreayd some what in labor on my own. So at 2:49am on May 18th, 2008 Straton James Wintle was born. He was 6 lbs 13 oz and 19 inches long. Due to the car accident our video camera, digital camera, baby car seat, and hospital bag were all trapped in the truck of our car at the tow yard. So we have no video of the baby and Pam and Craig were nice enough to make a run down to our home and grab another camera. But at least he was here safe and sound. He has been a really good baby! The kids love him! Through the whole thing no one even asked Chris if he was OK when his side of the car was hit the hardest (you could not even open the any of the doors). But we were blessed and for some reason were not even sore from the accident. So we are one car down and up one child.
